Job description
Responsible for taking and resolving help desk calls, in regard to desktops, laptops, printers and smart phones, printing issues, login issues.
Responsible to utilize a basic knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows sever 2012 R2 Microsoft Office 2007- 2016 version, Exchange 2010
Ability to create domain users and email accounts as requested
Ability to assign folder rights and create shares and groups
Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues on Desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones
Responsible to take help desk calls for our application base which includes Microsoft Office products, PCC, email printing hardware and software issues, and phone and fax issues.
Responsible to answer end user questions regarding these applications and use the support available from our vendors to analyze and resolve the issues.
Responsible for using basic project management skills needed to implement applications, both upgrades and new installs.
Responsible for maintaining user security both in the Microsoft environment and our EMR system and other business applications
Responsible to write and maintain user manuals to document business practices and application usage
Responsible for a daily and weekly checklist of systems to be performed as directed.
Responsible for the rotation and testing of the tape backup system.
Responsible for networking issues as directed by the IT Director
Qualifications Required:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university or Equivalent experience.
Experience: Three (3) – Five (5) years recent Information Technology(IT) experience.
Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills required. Must possess the ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze information and make recommendations.
Physical: See Attachment A. This position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position.

Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, children, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must be knowledgeable of health care and education laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for supporting quality care and maintaining a sound operation.
Must be thoroughly familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the release of information.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle personnel based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.
